Interpretation Designers

An interpretation design company saw an opportunity to develop a smartphone application for a client of theirs – a World Heritage Site  – and wanted to integrate this within their offer. The client liked the idea of mobile but was unsure of whether the technology would be appropriate for their audience and their site, or how it would help them meet their interpretive goals.  Our research identified which key target audiences could be reached via mobile and and showed how the existing behaviours of smartphone owners could be harnessed to further the client’s mission.   We armed the designer with credible data and a creative vocabulary that has helped them explore mobile with their client in more concrete terms.
